If you want to light the candle and not just use it for decoration, it is recommended to place it on a fireproof surface.
Application & Care
To ensure you can enjoy your candle safely and to the fullest, please observe the following instructions:
- Place on a heat-resistant surface.
Always place the candle on a heat-resistant surface such as a plate or ceramic platter. Some wax may drip down the sides of decorative candles as they burn.
- Trim the wick
Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each lighting to ensure the flame burns calmly and evenly.
- First burning
When lighting the candle for the first time, let it burn until the entire surface is melted. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn.
- Avoid drafts
Do not place the candle in a draft so that the flame remains stable and the wax melts evenly.
- Extinguishing a candle correctly
To extinguish the candle, it is recommended to use a candle snuffer or briefly dip the wick into the liquid wax. This will prevent soot and splashes.
Note regarding natural wax
- Our candles are made from 100% natural wax. Occasionally, so-called frosting effects may occur β small, light, crystal-like spots on the surface.
- This is a natural characteristic of vegetable wax that can be caused by temperature fluctuations and has no effect on fragrance or burning behavior.
Safety instructions
- Never leave burning unattended
- Keep away from children and pets
- Trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before each lighting.
- Use only on a fireproof, level surface.
- Do not burn the candle completely β leave approximately 1 cm of wax residue.
